Franklin Management provides strategic planning and organizational consultations to both government and non-government organizations. Clients include for profit, nonprofit, and 3rd sector organizations. Services include long-range planning, strategic development, board development, and the analysis and creations of institutional tools. The Franklin Management philosophy and approach to organizational development and strategic planning is a holistic organizational wellness approach. We believe there is a direct correlation between solid intuitional foundation development and long-term organizational sustainability and resilience. Therefore, our theoretical approach includes a Participatory Action Research (PAR) process that engages key institutional leadership and stakeholders in a detailed whole organizational analysis. The goal is to determine institutional direction, change, or no change.

Dr. Maurice Franklin CEO and President of Franklin Management (FM) lectures and consults on organizational
sustainability and organizational development strategies, throughout the United States. Dr. Franklin has
previously served as an advisor to Dallas, Texas Mayor Mike Rawlings. Dr. Franklin’s published academic work
focuses on Governance, Sustainability, and Strategic Thinking of an African American HIV/AIDS Organizations.
Currently, Dr. Franklin, serves as adjunct faculty, in the School of Public Administration at Capella University and for the CUNY MPH program office, Harlem location.
Maurice has worked for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), where he served as a member
of the executive staff and senior advisor. Dr. Franklin assisted Dr. Stephen Thomas, Ph.D. and Sandra Quinn, M.Ed., by providing the resources for their HIV/AIDS and Syphilis study on the Knowledge, Attitudes, Beliefs, Behaviors (KABB), of African American faith members. Their study findings assisted HIV/AIDS community-based
organizations and researchers understand the influence faith and culture have on HIV/AIDS education and knowledge barriers of African American faith members. Dr. Franklin has been featured on PBS, the New York Times, and countless magazines and publications.
